Dog Walking Field in Buckinghamshire
PAWS ON THE RUN

How to Use our Dog Walking Field

Maximum 4 dogs from the same household. This condition must be adhered too!  we are only licensed for 4 dogs, failure to abide by this condition will result in being refused use of the field in the future.

Sorry, no professional dog walkers.

Local Wildlife does dig and burrow!  we endeavour to keep the field as safe as possible, but please take care when walking. If you see any potential hazards i.e., holes, breaches of the perimeter (Rabbits, deer and foxes share the local area), please contact us via email or give us a call, thank you.

Use of the field is entirely at the hirers risk, no responsibility will be accepted for injury to dogs or owners, loss or damage to personal property. Cars are left in the car park at the owners own risk.

Please do not allow your dogs to dig, this endangers other users and potentially theirs, and your own dogs. Please act responsibly and pick up after your dog. Use the bins provided to dispose of your dog mess, there’s nothing worse than stepping in another owner’s dog poo.

Dogs using the field must be immunised, and please do not bring your dog if it has been ill, especially if they have recently suffered sickness or diarrhoea.

Do not arrive before your time slot, please arrive and depart within your hours slot. This is important as 2 cars cannot pass each other within the park. This allows for smooth running of the field. Please never attempt to reverse out of the car park onto the main road, there is sufficient space to turn your vehicle within the car park and exit forwards

Gates must be closed and locked on departure. Please do not leave the field unsecure.

PLEASE KEEP THE NOISE TO A MINIMUM WHEN USING OUR DOG WALKING FIELD SO AS NOT TO UPSET ANY OF OUR NEIGHBOURS

On Arrival

The padlock code will be sent to you on the morning of your visit. PLEASE do not arrive before your booked time. Upon arrival, unlock and open the gate, and drive in. Please do not block the public footpath. Park your car in the parking area and remember to close the gate behind you. Dogs must be taken into the field on a lead.

During Your Stay

When arriving and leaving, please keep noise to a minimum so as to respect the privacy of our neighbours. Any complaints about excessive noise may result in refusal of further use of the field. Remember to bring your own water for your dog, as we currently have no water supply on site. Bowls can be found by the shelter at the far end of the field.

Parking

Off road parking for 2 cars is available for your personal use. Sufficient space is given to enable your vehicle to be turned around within the parking area. Please ensure your vehicle is turned around in the space provided, and you exit the field forwards. Under no circumstances reverse out onto Gerrards Cross Road.

On Leaving

Before you leave, we respectfully ask that all owners / handlers ‘pick up’ after their dogs and place their ‘poo’ bags into the bins provided. Anyone found leaving dog mess and any litter etc, could be refused use of the field in future. Please ensure you have left the field secure by locking the gates behind you.
